Started using the Sultan Tandoori after seeing a news report about an award received by the head chef. The food is excellent. My primary dish is always Vegetable Dhansak and the Sultan version is the best I have had in a long time with just the right amount of 'kick'. I can also recommend the Sultan Special rice, Sag Aloo and particularly the peshwari naan! The delivery service is exceptional - rapid and with the food at the perfect temperature. There is a very reasonable minimum order of just 20 making it suitable for single people who want a couple of days worth of food - it's especially helpful that it tastes even better reheated the next day! Online orders via the attractive website attract a further discount making the delivery effectively free.
We ate at the Sultan last night for the first time under new management. An excellent evening. All our meals were so tasty and the service was perfect. We hadn't been warned on booking that there was currently no alcohol licence but they were so helpful in arranging for us to get some wine to go with our meal. Fabulous.

Having previously ordered many takeaways from the Sultan in the past , this was the 1st time visiting the restaurant since the ownership changed and we were very impressed. The decor was modern, food was beautifully presented, portion size was just right and the service friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning; just remember to bring your own alcohol
Sultan is a hidden gem, easily missed. We came for the first time tonight and was not disappointed, food was hot, tasty, and amazing , you bring your own alcohol too and they provide the glasses. Service was fantastic Two of us had lamb vindaloo and the lamb just fell apart , can highly recommend. We'll definitely be back
We always order our takeaways from here but decided to dine in for our dinner here last night for a change. It was very good! The food was delicious. Service was very quick. Staff were very attentive. Restaurant was very clean and the decor was lovely and inviting. Only negative for us was that they don't serve alcohol as it would have been nice to enjoy our food with a nice beer but it was only a minor disappointment. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Dropped in for a takeaway last night. Wow, probably the best Tikka I've ever had. The little side additions of salad and dressing really went well too. Excellent work!
